Halt Uterine Fibroids & Heavy Periods

By Lorna Vanderhaege

Heavy menstrual bleeding and endless spotting caused by uterine fibroids is the main reason for  hysterectomy – and Canada has the highest rates of hysterectomy in the world. If both the uterus and ovaries are removed women are thrown into menopause often with severe hot flashes, night sweats and mood swings.

Estrogen dominance, where we have too much estrogen in relation to our other hormones is the cause of uterine fibroids.

Symptoms of Estrogen Overload

  • Uterine fibroids
  • Ovarian cysts
  • Heavy periods
  • Breast lumps
  • Thick uterine lining
  • Belly fat
  • Endometriosis

ESTROsmart containing plant nutrients balances estrogen to progesterone levels naturally and stops abnormal cell growth. Within two to three menstrual cycles women notice their periods normalize with reduced flow and painful cramps. If you have uterine fibroids and/or heavy periods take 4 ESTROsmart per day with food for relief. Dr Mitchell Rein and his colleagues at Brigham and Women’s Hospital published important information in 1995 that suggests it is actually progesterone and progestins (often prescribed as synthetic Provera or progestin only birth control pills) that promote the growth of uterine fibroids. Progesterone is used by the body to make other hormones including testosterone and estrogen. Many health care professionals believe that if they treat estrogen overload by giving progesterone or progestin this will halt the growth of uterine fibroids. For some women prescribing progesterone can actually make their estrogen dominant health issues worse.
