The thing about selling fresh breads, milks, produce and other perishables is that they continue to perish when we close for holidays! Yesterday we donated about 75 pounds of fresh, near-date breads and milks to Community Care's food bank via Second Harvest, a food rescue program. ⁠

In the past year, we've been able to divert almost $1000 worth of healthy food to local food banks, equivalent to about 240 meals.⁠

We thank you, our customers, for supporting local businesses like ours so that we can give back to our community in this and other ways. We celebrate the circle we are a part of.
