Have you been experiencing headaches or bloating? Struggling to get through your day because your energy is so low? If you’ve had these symptoms -- or others like skin conditions, joint problems or anxiety -- you most likely have also tried cleansing or maybe a Candida diet.
As I approached the final days of my month on the Whole30 eating plan, I reflected on the fact that I actually wasn’t eager for it to be over. I wasn’t “jonesing” for sugar, nor dairy, grains or *gasp* even wine!
I am feeling so optimistic about this way of eating. As I head into the home stretch, I know this is not a fad diet for me. Bloating and digestive issues have drastically improved. My energy continues to be stable, with no afternoon slumps at all.
I continue to be amazed at how great I feel and how eating this way is not nearly as difficult as I had expected. Meal planning continues to be necessary and a priority. I am rarely hungry between meals and hardly feel the need to “snack”.
